MOBILE MARKETING / POS MARKETING
Hiwave is Germany's first system house for Mobile Marketing technologies that mainly operate on the basis of Bluetooth®, infrared, WiFi, and NFC. With the range of products we offer, consumers can download content to their mobile phones for free from locally placed transmitters.
- Advertising agencies can fit their posters with Bluetooth/infrared transmitters and offer downloadable content to consumers, e.g. podcasts, city maps, videos, mobile phone games, and much more
- At events, visitors can download the latest product trailers, or refreshment coupons.
- In retail consumers can download product vouchers and rebate coupons, product information, or other special offers onto their mobile phones.
- In bars, clubs, and concert halls music files and coupons for drinks can be broadcasted out to the mobile phones of the visitors.
Hiwave provides consulting to advertising companies and agencies in regards to short-range radio solutions your point of sale and point of contact.
ABOUT US
Hiwave develops and distributes solutions for Proximity and Mobile Marketing. Highly-specialized products from international suppliers, and our own technology are used. In addition, we take care of the creation and adaptation of content, the software-driven aspects of the campaign, as well as logistics and handling. Hiwave entered the market in August 2004, and was founded as GmbH in March 2007. After a management buy-out, Hiwave was reestablished as UG in May 2009.
MANAGEMENT TEAM

Laurenz Lenkewitz is Founder and General Manager; Dan Romescu (Dipl-Ing.) is IT Director. Bernd Speicher (Dipl-Kfm.) heads the Sales department; Todor Gitchev (Dipl.-Inf.) accounts for the development of HiwaveNET CCMS Content & Campaign Management System, the first AdServer for Short Range Wireless & Proximity Marketing; Christian Block is Content & Client Services Manager.
AWARDS

At the across-the-group marketing competition "Together - Handel verbindet Kulturen" of METRO Group 2007 the team of cash&carry market Berlin-Spandau won the Special Award Technology. This ethno marketing concept included HiSpot technology by Hiwave. Customers were asked to download coupons with rebates from the HiSpot to convert them at the cash-desk.

At the Innovation Award 2007 of the Small and Medium Business Initiative, Hiwave was awarded in the category Mobile Business for its proximity marketing product HiSpot. With HiSpot, end consumers, passers-by, and shop visitors can download mobile phone content via Bluetooth for free.

On the 13th of November 2006 Hiwave was awarded the special award of the junior chambers (“Wirtschaftsjunioren”) Berlin in the context of the Berlin-Brandenburg business plan competition. The "sustained concept with international growth potential award" was awarded.

At Systems 2005 Hiwave was awarded an award in the category 'most innovative technology' by IT Adventure. The renowned members of the jury of the award included Klaus C. Plönzke, founder of CSC Plönzke AG.
